Sometimes there's no other way to express yourself other than to let out a nice, f-bomb. It's a word that has a lot of connotations behind it but it's also a word that gets censored a lot. Spider-Man: Homecoming is no Deadpool when it comes to swearing but there is one moment where we hear the beginning of a f-bomb but it's cut off at the last second.
In the last scene of the movie proper Peter walks into his bedroom and sees a bag with the suit he got from Tony in it. He puts it on, without the mask, and we see him standing in his bedroom. The camera pans so we see over his shoulder Aunt May standing in his open doorway. She says "what the f–" and the movie cuts to credits.
It's a great way to end the movie; it's a funny moment that also has great story potential. Actress Marisa Tomei talked to Cinema Blend and said that getting that timing down was not as easy as it looked.
I think I said the whole word, and then they had to fine tune and fine tune.
You can get away with one f-bomb in a PG-13 so the movie could have just left it as is but Spider-Man: Homecoming is looking to be a movie for kids so they had to edit it. While leaving it in would have been funny the way they decided to "censor" it with the credits made the joke so much better. Hopefully the home release will have the uncensored version.
