Teaser Trailer for Todd Phillips' 'Joker' Coming on Wednesday

CinemaCon is happening this week in Las Vegas, so there will be some pretty big teaser and trailer drops happening. One of those may NOT be a CinemaCon exclusive, because the first teaser trailer for Todd Phillips' upcoming Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime will hit tomorrow, Wednesday April 3rd.

We know this because director Phillips shared this post on his Instagram, complete with a poster and an assurance that the teaser is coming tomorrow.

We're looking forward to finally seeing some footage of whats in store for this film, it's certainly been an interesting road.

Joker centers around the iconic arch-nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck, a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Phoenix stars as the Joker, and is joined in the film by Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.

Joker will hit theaters on October 4th.
