The Munchkin's Will Widger To Adapt The Lumberjanes As Movie For Fox

$_57The Wrap is reporting that the writer of Black List favourite script The Munchkins, Will Widger, has been tapped to write the screenplay for Lumberjanes, based on the popular Boom! comic book by Shannon Watters, Noelle Stevenson, Grace Ellis and Brooke Allen.

The film will see Boom's Ross Richie, Stephen Christy and Adam Yoelin as producers with Fox's Kira Goldberg and Ryan Jones.

In the wake of the announcement, there has suddenly been a rush on the rarer variant covers for Lumberjanes #1 on eBay…. with the CGC 9.8 version on the right suddenly selling for $54…
