The other day, while pockets of Brexit were breaking out all over London, I cycled down to the South Bank, dodging people discussing the finer points of Theresa May's policy – or lack of it. Only to find myself, near the Oxo Tower, with a familiar looking funfair slide towering over me.

Shazam was in town. Or rather the funfair to promote the movie was. All the film stars had been and gone, leaving behind some tests of skill…
