The Tick Saves International Cat Day…Sort Of

Do we really need an International Cat Day? The little creatures already think every day is Cat Day. And what do they do for the world? Sit on your keyboard, knock things off your desk, and demand food…and what they do in that litter box is just plain evil. Don't get me wrong, I like cats well enough. They can be cute and affectionate and all those other warm and funny things that make cat videos the second most-popular thing to look for on the internet. But that still doesn't explain whey we need an International Cat Day. And what does that have to do with The Tick?

The Tick

Since we have International Cat Day, at least we can get some funny things out of it like this new video for The Tick. The series premieres in just over two weeks time on Amazon Prime, and they've released this new viral video of a little girl screaming for help because her cat is stuck in a tree. But the cat doesn't really look stuck; more like he's chillin'. The Tick runs to the rescue, tearing up toys and playgrounds along the way, only to rescue someone else…

The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Valorie Curry and Ryan Woodle. It debuts August 25th on Amazon Prime.
