Zack Snyder Continues to Reveal Secrets of the Snyder Cut, Including Frank Miller Easter Egg

It's been a few days since we last posted an update on the Snyder Cut of Justice League, a mythical version of the beleaguered movie which features director Zack Snyder's Vision in its purest, unaltered form, so we understand that many Snyderbronies — the colloquial term for hardcore DCEU fans — might be worried that something is amiss. Rest assured, however, that the Snyder Cut still exists, and proponents of the Snyder Cut are still fighting for its release.

In the case of the father of the Snyder Cut, Zack Snyder himself, that means continuing to defiantly post about the movie on social media network Vero. Snyder's version of Justice League may have been destroyed when Warner Bros contracted alleged fake feminist Joss Whedon to assassinate Snyder's vision by replacing key scenes of Superman wearing black costumes with scenes of Cyborg saying "booyah," but that doesn't mean that no elements of Zack Snyder's Vision remained in the final cut.

For example, one Snyderbrony noticed that a scene when the Flash trips, if frozen at just the right moments, mimicks a panel from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns, one of the proto-Snyder-Cut comic books that influenced Snyder's vision of the DCEU.

And Snyder himself confirmed that the Easter Egg is real:

But while this Dark Knight Returns homage may have made it through Whedon's hatchet job, some parts of the Snyder Cut are still nowhere to be found. For instance, take actress Kiersey Clemons, who was set to debut as Iris West in Justice League before Joss Whedon got his hands on the film. According to Heroic Hollywood, Snyder took to Vero once again to post a photo of the actress, reminding DCEU fans once again of what was lost when Warner Bros decided to bespoil the film of its core essence.

It's unfortunate that Warner Bros continues to suppress Zack Snyder's Vision by refusing to release the Snyder Cut, despite demonstrable fan demand. However, it's heartening to see that Zack Snyder is fighting back by making seemingly mundane social media posts that continue to give all of us Snyderbronies hope that the Snyder Cut will one day see the light of day, but not too much light, because light is not a big part of Zack Snyder's Vision.
