Baron Corbin is the New "Constable" of WWE Raw for Some Reason

Another wrestler has gained a position of legal authority. Baron Corbin has been appointed "constable" of Monday Night Raw by commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Corbin revealed the news by reading a letter from McMahon to Raw general manager Kurt Angle Monday night. Corbin will represent the interests of McMahon while she's not physically present on the show.

"Constable" isn't a standard position on the wrestling program, but there is some precedent for lawmen on the show. Stone Cold Steve Austin himself once held the position of sheriff. And who can forget The Big Boss Man? Corbin also follows in the footsteps of other professional wrestlers who have risen to political power, such as former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura or WWE Hall-of-Famer President Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's President Trump's fascist tendencies and bias against Mexican food which Corbin looks to pattern his rule after. One of his first acts was ruining Curt Hawkins' taco night by costing Hawkins the win in his match against a jobber. Hawkins planned to give everyone in the arena a free taco in celebration of what he was sure would be a victory.

Why did he do it? Corbin had the answer on Twitter:

Well, he does make a good point.
