It was John Tyler Christopher who started the craze over at Marvel. And now Action Figure Variant Covers are quite the thing.

Which is why Titan Comics has Blair Shedd creating Robotech variant covers for Issue 1 and 2 of the new Robotech comic book series – of toys that never existed.

Issue 1 has a Rick Hunter action figure variant.

While Issue 2 has a Lynn Minmei action figure variant.
