Death in the Marvel Universe is nothing if not fleeting, but two series have spent the better part of the past year truly savoring the moment: Dead Man Logan, a 12-issue maxi-series whose entire purpose was to kill off Old Man Logan now that the return of the original Wolverine has made him redundant, and[...]
Dead Man Logan #12 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Ed Brisson, Mike Henderson, Nolan Woodard, and Cory Petit, which means it's time for Marvel to finally put their money where their mouth is and kill of Old Man Logan We've been waiting twelve issues for the stabby old bastard to die,[...]
Old Man Logan will presumably finally die in Dead Man Logan #12 next week, but that doesn't mean writer Ed Brisson is ready to leave the world of the Wastelands just yet Spinning out of that book in January will be Avengers of the Wastelands, starring Dani Cage (who picked up Thor's hammer in Dead[...]

Dead Man Logan #11 is in stores next week from Marvel Comics, by Ed Brisson and Mike Henderson, providing a counterpoint for this week's Powers of X #4 We've got a preview below.
If you haven't been following along, Marvel decided to kill off Old Man Logan when they original Wolverine was coming back, but in[...]
There's just three more issues left for Old Man Logan to live as we get a preview of next week's Dead Man Logan #10 In the previous issue, the sanctuary Logan had brought Dani Cage and Bruce Banner Jr to, run by Forge, was under attack by Sabretooth and his Mad Max army The team[...]
For a guy with a defective healing factor, with little time left to live, and starring in a book called Dead Man Logan, you'd think that Wolverine would operate with at least a little bit of caution Nevertheless, Wolverine isnt' a cautious kind of mutant, which is why he went and got his lungs ripped[...]
Let's award it the Wolverine's Weiner X-Pick of the Week!
Congratulations to the creative team!

THE LAST REAL HULK ALIVE!
When Logan slaughtered the Hulk Gang, he spared its youngest member…but every burnout, sporto and motorhead in the Wastelands wants the kid dead – or under their[...]
It's not often that the X-Books delve into psychological horror, and when they try, it's often laughably bad (see: the most recent Legion series), but everything clicks here and I'm loving it.
Dead Man Logan #7

Enter the Wastelands!
While Logan was in the Marvel Universe, the Wastelands fell even[...]
Dead Man Logan is a 12-issue maxi-series all about killing off a Wolverine, which we have to admit is a concept we can really get behind First of all, Wolverine's are annoying, always guest-appearing in too many comics and saying "bub" all the time Secondly, there's just too damn many of them But the problem[...]
And it's hard to give much of a crap about these radically different alternate universe versions of the main characters.

This week's Dead Man Logan #6 marks a major turning point for Old Man Logan: he's nearly halfway dead! And with his demise looming, Logan is making the rounds to say his goodbyes, visiting Captain America as we saw in a preview earlier this week to make an apology But he sits down with another[...]
One has to go, and that one is Old Man Logan.
But before that, there's still another 7 issues of the Dead Man Logan mini-series in which to drag out Logan's long, slow death In next week's Dead Man Logan #6, Logan will come face to face with his younger counterpart But first, with the end[...]
And by dying, we mean very slowly, over the course of a 12-issue series called Dead Man Logan.
In a preview of next week's Dead Man Logan #5, Wolverine and his pals from the X-Men, alongside the recently defected villain Mysterio, are on their way to invade the secret base of Neo-Hydra, a revival of the[...]
If we're being honest, this book probably has a shelf life, but we'll continue to enjoy it until it expires.
Dead Man Logan #4

LEFT FOR DEAD!
• Logan's Adamantium sickness is advancing, and the greatest medical minds of the Marvel U want one last checkup…
• Hawkeye vs[...]
Nevertheless, it's slightly less common, but that's what Mysterio has in mind when he climbs through Hawkeye's window in next week's Dead Man Logan #4.
Mysterio has a good reason to turn to an Avenger for help His colleagues in Neo-Hydra plan to kill him off once they're done using him to kill all the heroes,[...]
But it wasn't really marketed that way (or marketed at all beyond the initial launch, so…
Of course, we'll still get more Weapon H in the upcoming Hulkverines 3-issue mini-series, and who knows what will happen after that? Weapon H will probably be a member of the Avengers within a few years and then we'll be[...]
So it's actually pretty impressive that, over all these years (aside from the occasional berserker rage), he's managed to mostly keep control of his mental faculties.
But things have taken a turn for the worse in next week's issue of Dead Man Logan, as Logan doesn't seem to recognize the Avengers, having mistaken them for supervillains–and you know[...]
Because you demanded it, apparently, the newly returned young Wolverine will take on his older, dying counterpart in April's issue of Dead Man Logan Revealed in Marvel's full April solicitations, these two Wolverines will face off for some reason in this issue, finally determining which of them is really the best they are at what[...]
The Panther slices off Deadpool's head in retaliation as he vows to live forever so he can stop people like Deadpool forever.
While I maintain my position that nobody asked for or needed this comic, I appreciate how fast-paced it's been, defying the usual Marvel hyper-decompressed style.
Dead Man Logan #2

The whole reason everyone is buying Dead Man Logan is so they can see that stabby Cannucklehead killed off once and for all Killing a Wolverine is pretty much the greatest accomplishment in any comic book creator's career, providing fans sweet, if temporary, relief from that overexposed Mary Sue But in next week's issue of[...]
Don't worry though, a little urine can fix that right up.
Thankfully, there's only two more issues of this nonsense and we can hopefully move on and forget hot claws ever happened.
Dead Man Logan #12

DEAD MEANS DEAD.
The writing's been on the wall for months now… Logan is dying[...]
So the death of Old Man Logan was, sadly, inevitable.
Or was it?
In an ironic twist, the first issue of Dead Man Logan, a new 12-issue maxi-series launching next week, Old Man Logan comes back to life after being found in the snow by a group of X-Men.
Of course, the whole point of this series is[...]
Marvel, however, or at least the Dead Man Logan creative team of Ed Brisson and Mike Henderson, seem to believe they know everyone's least favorite X-Man is, even if it does seem baffling that Wolverine would need to make an appearance in Old Man Logan February's Dead Man Logan #4 promises a "special appearance by[...]
To bring him back, we've had to sit through a Marvel Legacy One-Shot and a Hunt for Wolverine event which consists of four mini-series and two bookend one-shots and in which it's been clear from the start that no one hunting for Wolverine is actually going to find him because he's not really coming back[...]
