Accordng to Deadline, the companion series to The Walking Dead has been given the greenlight to make a pilot by AMC Dave Erickson (co-writer & co-creator of the main series) will be the show runner and executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert will do the same on the new series.
