Andy Cohen to Appear on Riverdale as Himself
If you didn't get enough of him standing next to Anderson Cooper on CNN's New Year's Eve coverage, then get ready for more Andy Cohen as the Real Housewives producer is set to appear as himself on an upcoming episode of the CW's Riverdale. EW.com is reporting that the Watch What Happens Live host will begin shooting his cameo later this week and will be an old friend of the Lodges who comes to Riverdale to offer Hermione (Marisol Nichols) a helping hand.
Cohen is good friends Mark Consuelos, who is playing Hiram Lodge, Hermione's husband on the series. So, for Cohen to play a friend of the Lodges is no real stretch. Cohen has appeared as himself in quite a few series including Alpha House, The Comeback, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Nightcap and Difficult People.
Riverdale is coming off of their midseason hiatus tonight with a new episode at 8 p.m. on The CW. The episode focuses on mounting tensions when Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and his fellow students from Southside High transfer to Riverdale High, and Betty (Lili Reinhart) sets out to find her long-lost brother.
