Arrow Season 6: It's Not Easy Being Green

The CW has released a new trailer for Arrow that features a lot of footage from already-aired episodes as well as some new footage. They also decided to use the tagline, "It's not easy being green," something usually associated with one Kermit the Frog — which makes me wonder if anyone has ever referred to Oliver (Stephen Amell) as Kermit. I can't remember that happening, but I think his reaction could be very funny.

The clip shows the scene where Oliver is telling Diggle (David Ramsey) that every time he puts on the costume, he's a target, and he needed to stop because of his son. Mind you, he was asking Diggle to wear it instead — a man who is also a father. That struck me as a very odd moment in the series and possibly Oliver's most selfish. I realize the difference is that John Jr. also has a mother and William does not anymore, but still.

Speaking of William (Jack Moore), some of the new footage has him with an obvious bruise on his face telling Oliver that there are always a million psychos trying to kill the Green Arrow… and he doesn't seem happy about that at all. This appears to be the new footage, likely from the episode airing this week.

Arrow airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
