Jamie Hayter Retains Championship in AEW Revolution Triple Threat

Jamie Hayter prevailed in a triple threat to retain the Women's World Championship at AEW Revolution, but was attacked after the match when Ruby Soho turned heel.

Jamie Hayter remains the AEW Women's World Championship after defeating Ruby Soho and Saraya in a triple threat match at AEW Revolution. Hayter continues a run that has been incredibly over with the fans, who are the ones who demanded Hayter become champion in the first place. That just goes to show that Tony Khan doesn't understand the first thing about the wrestling business. You should never give the fans what they want! The Chadster is covering AEW Revolution tonight, so read on!

The story so far: Ruby Soho literally stabbed VinceMcMahon right in the back when she left WWE and joined AEW. Saraya literally stabbed Vince McMahon right in the back when she gave up her career as a WWE ambassador to return to the ring in AEW. Jamie Hayter literally stabbed Vince McMahon in the back when she signed a contract with AEW in the first place, refusing to pay her dues in AEW, and then went on to get over organically and force AEW to put the title on her. The Chadster was always proud of the fact that WWE had a better women's division than AEW when AEW first started, but thanks to women like these three, AEW's women's division has grown by leaps and bounds, which is just so disrespectful to the wrestling business and everything that Vince McMahon has ever done for it. When all three collide at AEW Revolution, it's going to be a match for the ages, which cheese The Chadster off so badly. No matter who wins, The Chadster will lose, but The Chadster is guessing that Ruby Soho, who has seemed like the main character in this feud, is the one to win it.

That was The Chadster's prediction earlier today when The Chadster delivered his very unbiased preview of AEW Revolution. Frankly, The Chadster finds the "punk rock" look of Ruby Soho to be extremely intimidating, and The Chadster has previously written about how Rancid is a band that will never be able to touch the skills of The Chadster's favorite brand, Smashmouth, so The Chadster is honestly glad that he got the prediction wrong.

What The Chadster is not glad about, however, is having to witness this travesty of a wrestling match, The crowd was just so behind Jamie Hayter the whole time, and the were so invested in Saraya's heel antics and Soho's underdog spunk. One rule that The Chadster sticks to is that if the AEW audience is loving something, The Chadster is hating it, and so that's what happened here.

Hayter got the pin on Soho to win, and after the match, it seemed like Soho was going to choose the AEW Originals' side in this feud. Saraya and Toni Storm tried to jump Hayter and Britt Baker after the match, but Soho ejected them from the ring. "You don't run this place," Soho told them. "This is our home, bitches."

Hayter raised Soho's arm, but Soho hit No Future on Hayter and Destination Unknown on Britt Baker. Saraya handed Soho a can of spray paint to deface Hayter and Baker, and Soho left with Saraya and Toni Storm. The Chadster could almost convince himself that the wrestlers booked as invaders from WWE ended the night standing tall over the AEW originals, but The Chadster knows that Saraya, Storm, and Soho are actually traitors who screwed WWE over so it's just so disrespectful of them to try to use WWE to get heat in this feud. Auughh man! So unfair!
