Legends of Tomorrow Season 3: 7 New Images Fuel the Ava Speculation

The CW has released seven new photos for an upcoming episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, entitled 'I, Ava'. You can see the photos below, but I will be talking some spoilers and the images might give away some things… so be warned.

There has been a lot of speculation since the release of this particular synopsis, and the photos add to it. We found out two episodes back that there is a secret about Ava (Jess McCallum) that Rip (Arthur Darvill) doesn't want Sara (Caity Lotz) to find out. Now, Rip always has secrets, so this is nothing new. But he built the Time Bureau, and with the episode title being similar to Isaac Asminov's I, Robot… people are thinking Ava may be a robot or android. The "seeing double" line in the synopsis and the sterile white room with blond women laying on tables seem to back up that idea. They seem to have that same pulled-back hair too.

This also tells us that Rory (Dominic Purcell) has success in taking on one of the totems. I'm leaning towards fire, but it could be earth.

The other thing is that Nate (Nick Zano) is being held captive by Kuasa (Tracey Ifeachor), and what appears to be Damien (Neal McDonough) and Nora (Courtney Ford) look on. The write-up says Nate and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) team up with and unlikely person to get a totem. I can think of only one totem that they could get and Nate would really want to get — the spirit totem back for Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). And the only enemy that might want that to happen would be Kuasa — if her grandmother doesn't get her totem back, it will change Kuasa's life.

But you can read the synopsis, look at the photos, and see what you see.

SEEING DOUBLE — When Ava (guest star Jes Macallan) disappears, Sara (Caity Lotz) and Ray (Brandon Routh) set out to find her after some prodding from Time Bureau agent Gary (guest star Adam Tsekhman) and a disturbing truth about Ava. Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) tasks Zari (Tala Ashe) with helping train Rory (Dominic Purcell) in controlling his own Totem power. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) set out on a mission that goes awry when they pair with an unlikely person to try and get a Totem. Dean Choe directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Daphne Miles. Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW. "I, Ava" will air on March 26th.
