Is Brent Anderson Drawing Action Comics #2 Instead Of Rags Morales? (UPDATE x2)

Is Brent Anderson Drawing Action Comics #2 Instead Of Rags Morales? (UPDATE x2)We've told you just how seriously DC Comics is taking timeliness of his its upcoming relaunch. Well here's an example that should cement it. Not only was Bob Wayne in London talking about how another artist working with David Finch on Dark Knight would keep it on track.

But Bleeding Cool has learnt that, despite solicitations, one of the major books of the DC Relaunch, Action Comics written by Grant Morrison will not have its second issue drawn by regular series artist Rags Morales, but by Astro City artist Brent Anderson.

Whether he'll stay on the book, share it with Rags, or it's just a one-off I don't know. But Brent does have that upcoming Astro City monthly to work on as well…

UPDATE: Rags Morales seems to throw large amounts of doubt, posting this photo online. UPDATE UPDATE: Rags Morales now posts "The only truth to the rumor is that Brent has 5 pages, and that's it. I had to make time for 29 pages of the first issue."

So there we have it. Brent Anderson drawing five pages of issue 2, Rags drawing the other fifteen, and onto issue 3…
