Today is the day that Archie dies. Killed by a shooter, who trying to kill local politician and war veteran Kevin Keller for his pro gun control policies.

But the comic, Life With Archie #36. Isn't actually about that, It's about the woman Archie truly loves. Finally, in narration, Archie talks about who it is… Bettie or Veronica.

And such is the elegance and craft of this comic book, so well written, devised and executed, that while Archie knows and talks evocatively about her…. whether it is Betty of Veronica he is talking about, remains a mystery.
