PlayStation 4 Slim Will Launch In September Says Report
Last night, pictures of a supposed PlayStation 4 Slim started circulating, and the more we hear, the more legitimate they seem.
I speculated last night that with this out in the wild already, it is likely to be getting a stealth release at PlayStation's event on September 7th. Well, Eurogamer have seemingly heard from their sources this will be the case, wit the console coming out shortly after the event. They say:
Sony will hold an event on 7th September in New York…Eurogamer understands the PS4 Slim will be released shortly after this event, later in September. We don't know how much it will cost, however, but the expectation is it will be cheaper than the original PS4.
This really has advanced quickly now, and it seems a new PlayStation 4 will be on the market very soon. I think this now nixes any small expectation that the PlayStation Neo would be releasing this year, so there is that.
