Avengers: Infinity War Starts Filming In Edinburgh City Centre This Weekend

Avengers: Infinity War starts filming in Edinbugh this Saturday. Anyone fancy popping by?

Initially, drones will be shooting aerial footage of the Old Town area. So if you want to be in the film – look up.

Also this weekend, crews will be testing lighting and setting up equipment, for filming around Cockburn Street and Parliament Square on Monday and Tuesday evening. Then in two weeks, there will be further filming from March 30th to April 2nd, April 4th to the 6th and 21st on the Royal Mile between Roxburgh's Close and Old Fishmarket Close between 6pm and midnight. Locals have been warned to expect small explosions.

So expect lots of shots of Scots folk with their arms draped around the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr,  Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Vin Diesel, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Brie Larson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillen, Jeremy Renner and many more.

It is a bit of party part of town – play your cards right, dodge the pedestrian closure and you could even end up as an extra.
