Watch the Trailer for the Expanded Chris Claremont's X-Men, Available on February 6

Chris Claremont might be the greatest comic book writer to ever live — come at us.

Black Panther isn't the only comic book movie coming out in February. There's also a documentary about Claremont's legendary X-Men run coming out next month. Boasting Claremont, Louise Simonson, and Ann Nocenti and also featuring interviews with Len Wein, Rob Liefeld, Marc Silvestri, and more, and directed by Patrick Meaney, who also directed The Image Revolution and Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods, amongst others, and produced She Makes Comics, Chris Claremont's X-Men is a must-watch for any X-Men fan. The movie was originally produced in 2013 and sold on DVD, but has since gone out of print.

Until now. XLrator Media and Sequart are releasing the doc digitally on February 6, and they've added a bunch of extra footage since the original release. Bleeding Cool has an interview with Claremont coming up ahead of the release, but before that, there's a new trailer you can watch below.

Chris Claremont came to Marvel as a young man, and was assigned a book that no one else wanted, a book on the brink of cancellation: X-Men. Over the next 17 years, his work on the title turned it into the biggest franchise in comic book history. Forty years later, his work has been adapted into ten films, three TV series, countless video games and become a part of our cultural mythology. But, it all started with one writer and his commitment to emotionally honest storytelling and real character building.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
