Listen to 'The OASIS' by Alan Silvestri from Ready Player One Soundtrack
While we're not getting the actual soundtrack for WB's Ready Player One film 'til it officially releases in the theaters on March 29th, WaterTower Music has been dropping a few tracks for fans to enjoy.
Previously, the WB music label released composer Alan Silvestri's 'Main Theme' from the film, and today it's a short musical jaunt called simply, 'The OASIS'.
From the various trailers (if you're not familiar at all with the book by Ernie Cline), you'll be able to understand that the OASIS is a virtual reality world that the entire planet uses daily. The majority of the action in the book takes place in the digital realm, and the high stakes contest depicted is for control of the OASIS.
Again, it's a super short track, but RP1 fans will no doubt want to hear it:
The official soundtrack album will drop the day the film opens in theaters, with a deluxe double vinyl set for release during July (we're assuming it'll be a SDCC exclusive item).
