Comic Girl Coffee & Books, the Comic Store Open on Christmas Day for Queermas: Chosen Family Day

Comic Girl Coffee & Books is a comic book store/cafe in Charlotte, North Carolina is having a special Christmas Day today. Most comic book stores will be closed, but for the second year in a row, Comic Girl will be open on Christmas Day from 4pm to 10pm  especially for the local LGBTQ+ community.

They tell us,

CGC is opening our space for queer (LGBTQ+) and other marginalized people who don't have a place to go on Christmas for the second annual Queermas! It is too common for marginalized people to be discarded by their families because of discrimination.

We have to come together and provide love and support to fill that void.

We will have a projector, games, and lots of coffee. We will feast potluck style, please feel free to bring a dish or beverage to share ♥

There is no cost to attend.
