Roman Reigns to Play The Rock's Brother in 'Hobbs and Shaw'
Fast & Furious spinoff film Hobbs and Shaw just gained Joe Anoa'i, aka Roman Reigns, to the cast, and the WWE star will be playing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's brother.
The news was revealed in an Instagram post from Johnson, showing the pair standing strong (in a semi-hakka stance) amid chaos behind them:
Anoa'i has been taking a leave of absence from the WWE after a battle with leukemia, which he dealt with roughly 10 years ago.
We are totally IN for this sibling pairing.
David Leitch is set to direct Hobbs and Shaw, which will reportedly focus on U.S. Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), who form an unlikely alliance.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26th, 2019.
