Black Cat Having Sex Dreams About Spider-Man in Next Week's Amazing Spider-Man #16.HU

In the fast-paced world of monthly (or bi-weekly or in the case of Amazing Spider-Man now, weekly) superhero comics, it's important to play things loose with continuity. After all, when you're churning out comic books at such a high rate, mistakes will be made. Sure, one day, you think it's a great idea to reveal your identity to the world as part of a heroes vs. heroes super-mega-crossover event, but when everyone still knows your identity when that event and its sweer sales boosts have been left behind, what are you supposed to do then?

In Spider-Man's case, he got Doctor Strange to cast a spell to magic away his big Civil War reveal (this is a pattern for Spider-Man), making everyone in the Marvel Universe forget his identity. That included ex-girlfriends like The Black Cat, who suddenly found herself unable to remember the face of the man she once loved.

In a recent issue of Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker decided to make things right and reveal his identity to her again. This caused all of those memories to come back…

But there's one big problem. Now Black Cat can't stop remembering… er… intimate moments while in the middle of rooftop superhero battles!

We can see how that might be a problem worthy of its own .HU numbered storyline spinoff issue.

Amazing Spider-Man #16.HU (Try to figure out the legacy numbering on that) hits stores next Wednesday.
