As we make our way into February, we're going to start seeing video game releases pick up heading into the spring. We have a lovely array of hit titles and indie darlings for you to snag this week. Remember to choose your games wisely, and as always, have fun!

An interesting development in Japan this weekend as CESA chairman Hideki Okamura (Tokyo Game Show) traveled to Taipei during Taipei Game Show to sign a brand new deal with CESA that will expand both brands by doing cross-promotional events as well as exhibitions beyond Japan.

Cloud Imperium Games just dropped a brand new feature trailer today for Star Citizen, showing off more features in their current Alpha 3.0 build for the game that anyone who backed the game can now play with.

Before we hit the weekend, Koei Tecmo has released a bunch of new images for four new characters in Dynasty Warriors 9, as well as screenshots of them in action and a new battle trailer for the game.

Bandai Namco held a private event for select members of the media in San Francisco this past week, in which they allowed people to try out Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, as well as shared brand new images of the game and its characters.

Today, the Entertainment Software Association announced their annual charity event, Nite to Unite, that will be taking place at the Fairmont San Francisco on March 20th. The event itself will have a cocktail event with a silent auction, and awards dinner and ceremony, and dessert for those attending. 

Capcom has taken the time to put together a launch trailer for Monster Hunter: World today as the game has been released this morning. It's only about a minute, but the trailer itself looks pretty awesome and is one of the best selling points to casual fans who haven't check it out yet.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is teaming up with Extra Life for an amazing cause starting next week. The battle royale title will be running a gaming marathon with the goal of raising at least $300,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.
