Batgirl Returns with McFarlane Toys The New Batman Adventures Figures
The animated universe of The New Batman Adventures is back as McFarlane Toys brings back some pretty popular figures
Gotham City needs all the help it can get, and that is where Batgirl comes into the fold as a trusted ally to the Bat-Family. McFarlane Toys has been pushing out quite a few DC Comics collectible lines with Page Punchers, DC Multiverse, Super Powers, DC Retro, and even new Animated figures. This includes a new wave of animated figures from the hit animated 90s series The New Batman Adventures. Batgirl is back as McFarlane is rereleasing the 2015 DC Collectibles set of animated figures with some new packaging and accessories. As for Barbara Gordon, she is faithfully recreated in her signature Bruce Timm design and will come with eight pairs of hands, two batarangs, and a grappling hook.
That is not all, though, as McFarlane Toys has given each of these The New Batman Adventures a few special releases, like a display base and a reproduction animation cel from the show with a model sheet and art frame. The cel is an excellent touch for these types of figures, and it would be incredible to see some releases like this for the animated Justice League or Justice League Unlimited shows. DC Comics fans can find Batgirl already up for pre-order at $24.99 with a February 2024.
