Hasbro Unveils New Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Old Ben Kenobi

Hasbro returns to a galaxy far, far away with a new collection of Star Wars collectible including the arrival of Old Ben Kenobi

Old Ben Kenobi is the reclusive hermit of Tatooine whom Luke Skywalker searches for in Star Wars: A New Hope. First portrayed by Sir Alec Guinness, Ben is the weathered, wise version of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who once stood at the height of Jedi power. Living in exile after the fall of the Jedi Order, Old Ben watches over young Luke Skywalker to protect and keep him hidden from the Empire. His introduction is critical, as he tells Luke the truth about his past and starts his training in the mysteries of the Force.

Old Ben is now back as Hasbro continues to build up their upcoming Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina HasLab play set. This updated version of Old Man Ben is nicely crafted, featuring his appearance in A New Hope with a removable fabric robe and lightsaber. This Vintage Collection release features impressive likeness, fabric elements, and classic card-back packaging and is priced at $16.99. He is set for a Fall 2025 release, and pre-orders are up and selling out, so get yours while you can.
