Kotobukiya Gets Villainous With New "My Hero Academia" Artfx Statue

My Hero Academia has such an amazing list of villains and heroes which could make it kind of hard to have a favorite character. I honestly love the villain's storyline just as much as the heroes. One of my favorite villains is Tomura Shigaraki because of his look and his pure sense of villainy. His quirk is also something of pure evil and the added hands to his costume design are bad ass. This time Kotobukiya is bringing him to life with another one of their My Hero Academia statues and this one really takes the cake. The dynamic feel of this statue is something special and the amount of detail on his is crazy! From the depth of his clothes to the shades on all of the decaying hands in his body Tomura is a perfect threat. I wouldn't have minded getting a second interchangeable head showing his normal face though. Even still, it is a great statue that Kotobukiya has given us and any My Hero Academia fan should act on him today.

The My Hero Academia Tomura Shigaraki Statue from Kotobukiya is priced at $109.99. He is set to release in September 2020 and pre-orders are already live and can be found here.

"Heroes and Villains both thrive on Violence, but we're still categorized. "You're good" "You're evil." That's how it is! Symbol of Peace? Hah! In the end you're just a tool for violence, made to keep us down. And violence only breeds more violence."

ARTFX J Tomura Shigaraki

The leader of the League of Villains from the hit anime My Hero Academia, Tomura Shigaraki is joining Kotobukiya's lineup as a scale figure!

As Tomura crouches low at the ready, his pose captures the force of intimidation brought about by his presence. Pay close attention to the aura of madness resonating from the sculpt.
