LEGO Celebrates 20 Years of Harry Potter With New Character Sets

Twenty Years of Harry Potter is a big deal, and LEGO and making sure they commemorate the event with some new magical building sets. We have already seen quite a few of these iconic Hogwarts moments like First Flying Lesson, Fluffy Encounter, and the Chamber of Secrets. The LEGO Wizarding World is still getting bigger and better, and these new character sets are here to prove that. Up first, we have the new brick-built Harry Potter and Hermione Granger models that capture their classic LEGO Minifigure form in glorious 10 inches! Wizards and witches will be able to build these enlarged mini-figures with 1673 pieces, and they will even feature moveable parts with hands, legs, and hip joints that move. These figures are the perfect 10-inch recreations of their LEGO mini-figure counterpart, and fans can build them for $119.99. The magical fun does not stop there either in enlarged form as LEGO reveals their Fawkes, Dumbledore's Phoenix set. Coming in at 597 pieces, Fawkes will come to life right before the builder's eyes with articulated parts and a LEGO mini-figure of Fawkes and Dumbledore. The Phoenix will have a wingspan of over 14 inches and is 9.5 inches tall from beak to tail. The legendary Phoenix will also be able to flap its wings when fully built and the LEGO mechanism in full effect.
