McFarlane Toys Announces DC Comics Collectibles Takeover
Last year, DC Comics reorganized their company which ultimately led to the downsizing and removable of their collectibles division. DC Collectibles (also renamed DC Direct) gave fan a massive amount of amazing collectively over the years with new action figures like the DC Comics Designer Series, DCeased, and New 52 creations. The company also was in charge of creating some of their amazing statues like their DC Bombshells, and the popular Batman Black and White statue line. After their collectibles department was changed, they announced the distribution of licenses to companies, one of which was McFarlane Toys.
Since then, McFarlane has dominated the collectibles market with their DC Multiverse action figure line. With designs from new comics like Dark Nights Death Metal to retro figures with Batman 66', they are covering it all. Collectors have even seen playsets and vehicles get released for the line showing they can deliver great collectibles for every DC Comics fans. Today, McFarlane has announced its partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products reviving DC Direct's inventory. With Todd McFarlane's creative direction, collectors will now get new statues, busts, and more figures from the world of DC Comics. This means that Harley Quinn and Batman Black and White statues are back on the table with so many more possibilities on the horizon.
