Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Donatello Revealed by Playmates

Return to the hit 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series once more as Playmates is bringing back a new reissue

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon aired from 1987 to 1996 and was a huge success for the franchise. The funny and wacky characters and adventures helped sell the toys and kick off a new wave of dedicated turtle fans. However, this series was not accurate to the Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird comic book, which features a dark tone. However, in 2003, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon hit TV screens with a more serious tone, tons of action, and new designs for the turtles. It looks like these 2003 heroes in a half shell are coming back as Playmates unveils their latest TMNT reissue. One of which is the return of the brains of the operation with Donatello, who comes with his signature bo-staff, ninja starts, axe, and two weapon caps for his staff. Donny will even come in retro-style packaging featuring the artwork from the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures. Playmates has this new wave of reissues priced at $11.99 and can be found in stores like Target now, as well as an online release.
