After All These Years, Doctor Strange Becomes a Real Magician in Valkyrie #6 [Preview]

Valkyrie #6 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Al Ewing, Jason Aaron, and Pere Perez. But though Jane Foster's name is in the title, Doctor Strange seems to be making a regular habit of appearing in this book, as we see in this preview.

As Jane continues to seek a work/life balance in her new role as the one and only Valkyrie…

…she goes to visit Doctor Strange to call in a favor that she earned… just an issue ago? But she finds Strange practicing magic. Not the hocus pocus kind. The real stuff.

But Jane didn't come here for card tricks, she came for help with a medical diagnosis.

And that she gets.

In another scene, Jane is assembling her own version of the Avengers, except everyone here is a medically-themed superhero.

Though that doesn't seem to make the job any less risky than usual.

Valkyrie #6 hits stores on Wednesday.
