Alan Moore's Neonomicon To Be Collected With The Courtyard In September

September seems to be the month for high profile orginal graphic novels and sizeable hardcover collections of prestigious material. We've just mentioned Frank Miller's Holy Terror, but there's the second Twilight Manga volume, the Jim Henson A Tale Of Sand hardcover from Archaia, Daniel Clowes' Death Ray hardcover, Hellboy House Of The Dead hardcover, the first collection of Pogo strips, Brian Selznick's Wonderstruck, Mangaman, the Codename Sailor prequel to Sailor Moon, and oodles from Marvel and DC. Well here's another.

Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows' Neonomicon in harcover and paperback, incorporating the prequel Courtyard miniseries adapted from Alan Moore's short story, by Antony Johnston and Jacen Burrows.

Ostensibly a crime thriller about FBI agents investigating an occult cult, it uses structural aspects of the comic book medium to deliver a message about text, subtext and meta-test using some of the more shocking images and experiences imaginable. Paperback cover and hard cover images to follow, and you can read the first few pages below…
