BOOM! Box Brings Webcomic Help Us! Great Warrior To Print In February
From BOOM! Box, an imprint of BOOM! Studios, comes a colorful comic entitled Help Us! Great Warrior. This February we will get to meet Great Warrior, who protects her village from evil-doers, and looks great while doing it. That is, if you haven't met her already in Madeleine Flores' popular webcomic version that BOOM! Box is ecstatic to continue in print form.
BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon said,
Madeleine's Great Warrior is someone we can all admire. She takes out the bad guys, eats too many potato chips, and is full of unwavering self-confidence. We fell in love with Madeleine's hilarious webcomic and just couldn't wait to bring these new adventures to print!
A tough heroine that eats too many potato chips? Well I have two things to say about that. One: you can never eat too many potato chips. Two: I'm hooked! I love the colorful whimsical art style that's displayed on the cover. It's very Adventure Time-esque, which makes sense because BOOM!'s all ages imprint KaBOOM! puts out an Adventure Time comic. I'm intrigued to learn about the plot, and to explore more of Great Warrior's quirks and personality. The other characters shown on the retailer incentive cover look so hilarious, you can almost predict how much fun it's going to be to read about them. I can't wait to meet this eccentric cast of characters! Help Us! Great Warrior #1 will arrive in comic shops on February 11th.
