Comic Writer With Muscular Dystrophy Asks For Help With His Dream Project

We run a lot of Kickstarter articles on this website because we believe in up-and-coming creators and helping them to spread the word. We ask them to write an article for themselves and we run it, allowing them to get their passion for their project into the story. Below is an email we received from Jason Rosenberg (Who goes by the name Kitsune) about a kickstarter campaign he is part of.

Hello there, my name is Jason and I know this is a long shot.

I am 33 with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and I use a ventilator to breathe, because of this I require nurses or PCA workers for daily life. I am unable to work because, if I start making money I lose basically all my assistance and benefits which I would need to work.

I am writing and designing a comic book with an artist currently and I could really use some kind of help getting it finished. I have seen many similar people asking for help with their projects and other things. This is my project and I would be eternally grateful if you could please consider helping me achieve my dream. My heart and soul is going into this project. Even ex DC Comic artists tell me that it is great quality. I am asking for your help and consideration.

And here is the basic plot of his story:

When a strange murder occurs in their home town, Misaki Kimura and Amaya Bellerose, spirit guardians that travel between the human world and the demonic world, have to try to find the source and prevent any further disasters before the balance of light and darkness is destroyed. Through the use of special "keys" that open gates from world to world, they fight to purify corrupted souls from demonic influences and destroy lost souls that are beyond saving. Can they uncover the reason for the recent spike in the human world's demonic activity and put the spirits of darkness to rest, or will they, too, become lost in the darkness that seeks to envelope their world?
