Dan Schkade's Character Sketches For The Spirit

His name is not as familiar as Eric Powell, Alex Ross, Matt Wagner or John Cassaday, but Dan Schkade is doing what the other four aren't. Where the first four names are all providing covers for the first issue of Dynamite's latest relaunch, Will Eisner's The Spirit… Schkade is providing the interior art for the adventures and more so than the others, he has to live up to the bar set by the legendary artist. From the looks of these initial character sketches, I think he's going to do just fine.
