David Finch Kept Out Of ManilaBatman: The Dark Knight artist David Finch was to travel to Manila, the capital of the Philippines, for a series of signings from today until Tuesday. But the Fully Booked store reports that "due to unforeseen circumstances" he is unable to attend, but will reschedule at a later date.

Those unforeseen events?

David was already at the airport, checked-in, and ready to board the plane, when it was discovered that his passport expires in June of this year.

Since a passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months to travel, David was not allowed to board the plane.

Yeah, that's… that's not going to go down well.

Don't suppose thee's any way Mark Millar could smuggle him in with Mark's political connections, since he's going there anyway? Or an overhead locker?
