DC Comics Fight Gotham Trademarks For Shirts And Electric Cars

DC Comics are currently trying to challenge one of their own customers, a shirt company for trying to trademark their name Sons Of Gotham. Well, the phrase is rather prevalent in the current Gotham TV show.

They are also challenging Cenntro Automotive Corporation for trademarking electric cars called "Gotham".

A nineteeth century nickname for New York, it implies urban living. But for DC lawyers, it can only be the fictonalised version of New York from the Batman comic books…
