DC Comics Is Turning Dr Jill Biden Into A Murderous Otter (Spoilers)
In November, I posted that Beast World would see "Dr Jill Biden... turned into a humanoid otter and attacking Secret Service staff."
Article Summary
- DC Comics storyline depicts Dr. Jill Biden as a humanoid otter causing chaos.
- President Joe Biden confronts domestic threats and emergency legislation.
- Wonder Woman comic includes commentary on political power and national threats.
- New issues of Titans: Beast World and World’s Finest Teen Titans set to release.
Back in November, Bleeding Cool got the goss that DC Comics was going to have Joe Biden, two-term President of the USA, state that the Amazons present a clear and present danger to the United States, a phrase that George W Bush got from the Tom Clancy novel and used to justify the Afghanistan and Iraq wars that Wonder Woman's current writer, Tom King, served in with the CIA. And that Amazons plot to "undermine America", another Bush phrase, and that Wonder Woman plays an active part in that. The language will be familiar.
That will be happening in the Wonder Woman comic out next week. But this week has Titans: Beast World #2 from Tom Taylor, Ivan Reis and Danny Miki in which President Joe Biden has to face a threat closer to home. Last month, I stated, "I also understand that an upcoming issue of the Titans: Beast World crossover event comic, it will reveal that Dr Jill Biden has been turned into a humanoid otter and attacking Secret Service staff. Just as Amanda Waller is pressurising him to enact emergency legislation that, potentially, may see all political power turned over to her…"
Well, this page has now leaked from Beast World #2. And it looks like I was bang on the money…
With Amanda Waller ready to take on the world and dismissing the Titans as Millenials. Something it seems Batman was doing only a decade ago, with this week's World's Finest Teen Titans…
I remember when the Justice League were all meant to be twenty-somethings… harder to do when you've got teenage kids. Titans: Beast World #2 and World's Finest Teen Titans #6 are published by DC Comics on Tuesday, or on Monday on Amazon Kindle if you pretend to be Australian.
