How Good are DC Comics Returnable Offers to Retailers This Week? Dollhouse to Dead Earth…
DC Comics likes to make comics returnable for their promotions, opposed to Marvel's tiered variants, discounts and overships. Here's their latest round.
The Dollhouse Family #2, which had issue 1 published yesterday, will be 50% returnable to retailers who order 75% of their numbers for The Dreaming #5. Hill House seems to be performing well against Sandman Universe, this should be an easy one.
Far Sector #2, which had issue 1 published yesterday, sold out, and went a bit silly on eBay, will be 50% returnable to retailers who order 75% of their numbers for The Flash #71. Which, given the positive reaction to #1, should be an easy one.
Joker: Killer Smile #2 will be 50% returnable to retailers who order 75% of their numbers for The Batman Who Laughs #2. Um… no. No retailer should do this one, unless they are happy eating a lot of Killer Smiles.
Wonder Woman: Dead Earth #1 will be fully returnable to those who match orders or more on Superman: Year One #1. No downside.
Year Of The Villain: Hell Arisen will be fully returnable to those who match 200% or more of Detective Comics Annual #2. Again, no downside and maybe this will encourage retailers to have enough in for DC Massive Week.
