The End of Deadpool, the Beginning of Black Cat and Collected Spider-Man Noir – Marvel at ComicsPRO
There's bound to be a lot more to spin-out from Marvel Comics' presentation at ComicsPRO. But here are three things that popped through, from what I'm told was a bright and breezy presentation from Marvel's David Gabriel. A little in contrast to what came previously…
First, as Bleeding Cool previously rumoured, the current Skottie Young Deadpool series is coming to an end with #15. I think we can expect a relaunch in a very different fashion to follow soon.
Then, also as we suggested, Marvel Comics is to collect and publish the Spider-Man Noir stories in one big hardcover collection, shortly after publishing the complete Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham collections and almost a year after Into The Spider-Verse came out. Marvel knows they missed the boat on that one a little.
And spinning out of recent Amazing Spider-Man, Black Cat is to get her own ongoing series, from Jed Mackay and Travel Foreman, starting in June. Another Spider-book to add to the big list…
More to come, I am told.
