Exclusive Preview of Jeremy Massie's Holler #2

It's Alive has provided Bleeding Cool with an EX-X-XCLUSIVE 5-page preview of Holler #2, the new comic by Jeremy Massie available for pre-order on IndieGoGo. The comic is about a grunge band in the 1990s, and carries the endorsement of noted grunge rocker Kurt Busiek, who says of the book, "Energetic, fun, and heartfelt – a bio-comic for anyone with a little rebellion in their soul."

Set in the 1990s among the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, Holler follows the misadventures of four young friends who form a garage band, while navigating the ups and downs of teenage existence. Featured stories this issue include: "Our Own Yoko", the future of the band is at stake when girlfriends are invited to band practice; "Roar of the Beast", cryptozoology is studied in Mark's youth group. Also included this issue are one pagers "Get A Real Job" and "She Lives on Love Street". Finally an alt-rock, grunge-fueled comic that everyone can enjoy!

Massie, who hails from the Appalachian Mountains where the story is set, is stepping out of his comfort zone for the book.
