Howard The Duck Omnibus Returns To Print And Digital
Howard The Duck has always had an infamous history from the changes demanded by Disney years ago, to issues between Marvel and co-creator Steve Gerber to the 1986 George Lucas flop (the second lowest grossing film in Marvel history, barely beating out Punisher: War Zone). But the character is loved by fans and the ominbus collecting his printed adventures has been out of print since a 2008 version.
Word is the book is going to back to the printers and will be available through Diamond in October for MSRP $100.00.
Also, quite a few of the Howard The Duck issues have found their way onto comixology with little to no fanfare. Both the classic series from 1976-1978 and the more modern one 2007-2008.
So fans of the foul fowl can now get caught up on the stories they missed. As for why now… I shouldn't really say, but I'm guessing it's pretty close to common knowledge now.
