Howard The Duck Omnibus Returns To Print And Digital

Howard-the-Duck-OmnibusHoward The Duck has always had an infamous history from the changes demanded by Disney years ago, to issues between Marvel and co-creator Steve Gerber to the 1986 George Lucas flop (the second lowest grossing film in Marvel history, barely beating out Punisher: War Zone). But the character is loved by fans and the ominbus collecting his printed adventures has been out of print since a 2008 version.

Word is the book is going to back to the printers and will be available through Diamond in October for MSRP $100.00.

Also, quite a few of the Howard The Duck issues have found their way onto comixology with little to no fanfare. Both the classic series from 1976-1978 and the more modern one 2007-2008.

So fans of the foul fowl can now get caught up on the stories they missed. As for why now… I shouldn't really say, but I'm guessing it's pretty close to common knowledge now.
