Unable to contain her excitement after seeing the image in an email, superstar writer Gail Simone took to Twitter to reveal artwork from an unspecified artist for an "upcoming project" featuring Plastic Man.

Hey, we made no promises.

Yes!!!

In her excitement, Simone forgot to share the name of the artist…

But it's definitely Alex Ross, right?

A "variety of guest artists" were announced as set to provide variant covers for the Plastic Man six-issue mini-series by Simone and artist Adriana Melo, the first issue of which is in stores on June 13th.
