Jay Anacleto's Amazing Detail On Blood Queen Vs Dracula #4 Cover

Yesterday I posted a story about an auction going on at ComicLink to raise money for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and Save Whiskers Rescue. There was a lot of great art in there, but one piece in particular caught my eye and the auction for it is going to be ending shortly here.

It's the cover for Blood Queen vs Dracula #4 by Jay Anacleto and it's already one of the highest priced pieces in the auction… having started off at only $1, it climbed up to over $900 with six hours to go.

The thing that made it stand out to me, unlike some of the other original art that gets depth and texture from the coloring phase… this one is fully rendered and shaded. The detail work is stunning and I think I almost like it better in the original pencils rather than colored.

This piece was donated by Anacleto to raise money for Save Whiskers Rescue… Which is looks like it's going to do very well.
