Justice League: Gods & Monsters Gets Comic Prequel

DC announced today that the new animated film Justice League; Gods & Monsters from Bruce Timm is going to get a prequel series in daily digital installments. One story for each of the main characters and one group adventure telling how they got together. The series starts this July.

The creative team for the series was not announced, though the preview pages do say "Silas", which I'm guessing is Thony Silas and the cover appears to be by Francesco Francavilla.

There will also be a line of action figures featuring their unique take on Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman coming out this fall. You can see the figures in the below video along with the trailer for the animated film.
