Remember when President Donald Trump and his cohorts decided that the coronavirus Covid-19 had to have been a Chinese lab leak? And it was obviously a racist theory designed to play up on previous attributions of plagues to countries or countrymen in decades past for populist reasons? But didn't actually mean it wasn't true, it was just that truth wasn't a factor as to whether or not it was proposed. I was reminded of my hometown in England, where two IRA suspects had escaped police and were on the run. Then two customers with Irish accents came into a sports shop in town, and the owners decided to assault them with cricket bats until the police turned up. And their violent racism paid off. They were, indeed, purely coincidentally, the escaped suspects. Well, today's Action Comics sees Kong Keenan, the Super-Man of China, as such a suspect.
