Mikel Janin Shows Off Pages From Batman #85 at CCXP
Comic Con Experience, also known as CCXP, is a Brazilian multi-genre entertainment and comic convention. It is based on the San Diego Comic-Con event and has attractions and contents about comics, TV series, movies, video games, literature and internet. They say that it's the largest pop culture festival in the world, but that means that they somehow manage to exclude Comiket. Oh and both New York comic Con and San Diego Comic-Con. Anyway. It is still massive.
This week's show is being held at São Paulo Expo in São Paulo, Brazil, and comic book guests flying in include Frank Miller, Neal Adams, Leon Chiro, Jason David Frank, Lana Parrilla, Iain Glen, John Romita Jr., Joëlle Jones, Frank Quitely, Lee Bermejo, Keith Giffen, Eduardo Risso, Charlie Adlard, Alex Maleev and Mikel Janin.
So as news starts to break out, Bleeding Cool received images taken during Mikel Janin's masterclass, with reports that Janin shared a lot about his choices on planning the pages designs and such. And he happened to use pages from the upcoming final Batman comic by Janin and Tom King, Batman #85, seen here online for the first time.
Go on, let's take a look. Probably spoilers if you think about this too hard. And you can also check out Tom King's own Batman #85 page reveal right here.
And when we zoom in and take out some of that blue background…
