For years, everything Mr. Freeze has done has been in the interest in reviving his wife Nora, who has been cryogenically frozen to prevent her death. So when Lex Luthor offered Freeze a serum to get the job done, he was quick to accept. But as we see in this preview of Detective Comics #1015, in stores this week from DC Comics by Peter Tomasi, Doug Mahnke, Jaime Mendoza, and more, you have to be careful what you wish for…
As Batman and his allies do their best to revive the victims Freeze kidnapped for experimentation before waking Nora up, Freeze is training his wife to be a supervillain. The goal is just to complete a heist or two so they can leave the crime life behind forever.
But as time goes on, Nora seems to be getting more sadistic. Is Freeze simply incapable of handling a powerful woman with agency? Or did Lex Luthor mess with Nora's mind?
On the bright side, Lucius Fox seems to have cracked the code for saving the victims.
More to come when Detective Comics #1015 hits stores on Wednesday.
