Paul Levitz Published For A Second Time By Marvel Comics

Paul Levitz was a DC Comics lifer it seemed, until Warner Bros. thought otherwise. Now he sits on the board of Boom Studios and is, from all accounts very active. But now he is to do something he has never done before, write a comic book for Marvel Comics. And he is reunited with an artist Alan Davis on a new Avengers mini-series, to be published in January 2023.

But this isn't Paul Levitz's first published Marvel Comics project. As he states on Facebook, as long as you are willing to "count a published fan letter that won me my No-Prize." And we are Paul, we really are. Maybe it could be reprinted in this comic? Apparently this project has been postponed a fair few times. Pandemics have the habit of doing that. Here's the PR…

Joined by fellow superstar Alan Davis, Eisner Hall of Famer Paul Levitz—known for his storied career at DC Comics—writes his first-ever Marvel Comics story in this five-issue limited series! "I learned much of my writing craft from THE AVENGERS, and it's been a delight to pay homage to my old friends Stan, Jack and Don by trying to do something that might have been an extended issue #11.1," Levitz explained. "We've been cooking this up for a long time, and I hope readers have as much fun with it as I did."
