Preview Of DC's New Weekly, Earth 2: World's End

This week kicks off DC's third weekly comic, Earth 2: World's End and here we have a preview of the first issue:

Daniel H. Wilson, New York Times best-selling author of Robopocalypse andRobogenesis, along with writers Marguerite Bennett (EARTH 2, JOKER'S DAUGHTER) and Mike Johnson (SUPERGIRL), delve into the world of EARTH 2 for the start of a new weekly series that will see the origins of a world much like Earth Prime, but yet so very different.

Earth 2 has already seen its greatest heroes sacrifice themselves – and has had new ones take their place. It's a world where Superman became its greatest villain and a man named Val-Zod seeks to save it. Huntress and Power Girl have returned to their home to help battle the ever-present threat of Apokolips, and you'll never know who will live and who will die!

It all begins with an extra-sized debut issue with art by Ardian Syaf, Sandra Hope, Danny Miki, Jorge Jimenez, Eddy Barrows, Eber Ferreira, Paulo Siqueira, and Cam Smith. It's not only a primer to how Earth 2 became occupied by the nefarious forces of Apokolips, but it also ties together the long-lingering questions and mysteries that even longtime EARTH 2 and WORLDS' FINEST readers will find surprising and shocking.

Death and destruction, invasion and war will follow each week, and whether you're a hardcore EARTH 2 regular or not, you won't want to miss this fantastic new series!

Earth 2: World's End #1 goes on sale Wednesday.
